You know Harry..

 Dear Harry

(second part)

Greetings! Cold right, I mean weather. Certainly not to confused with me. Dear, responsibility cost the bills (to pay) on the top this damn "corona". Apolitical persona like me was hardly hit by policies of carefree government- survive on own but keep paying tax buddy! Shit. This is now real cold. You can figure out- I am the sailor who had all those hit from big storm at the sea and just made it to shore after great balance. Pardon me, harry!

You remember Mr. Tamang? Yeah, you heard him- fellow villager of maddy. Mr. Tamang got back from upper solukhumbu on the 9th day he left for. His boss then for few days got altitude sickness- headache and nausea. They sheltered with us till that Swedish guy ready to board further. Mr. Tamang got more pay for more days while I got more days to hear maddy's lost and found story.

Harry let me run you through Mr. Tamang say, "Paudel sir was very happy when he heard that his son started to teach in Londan (you remember prof. Joseph asking him to assist in teaching and later offered a title of teaching assistant"). People talked- Mrs. Paudel has great dream before Man bahadur was born. Some people at local tea stall said Man bahadur planets are always at perfect place (it means horoscope, buddy). As this news of job at foreign is burning, Mrs. paudel left the world.

Paudel sir remained alone at home. Both sorrow and peace lived with him. He may have failed to save his wife but deep inside he had light that they are successful in life as a parent. His only dream was to get his son married and settled. Paudel sir took good and bad news as a part of his life journey. One fine day of Ashad (monsoon in Nepal), his son called him to inform that he was leaving to America to teach in big college ( you know right- assistant professor, pennstate university they mean). That time too paudel sir seemed satisfied with utter numbness.

Friends of Paudel sir at school started to bring girls family proposal of their relations to get hitched with Man bahadur. Who don't want to make relations with a boy of that talent and capacity? Obvious, all those who notice. That too in foreign. Every month two/three proposal became a regular business that knocks the door. Paudel sir listened all, gave little hope to all. He is kinda introvert.

One afternoon people at local tea stall met an enquiry of postman from nearby post office on whereabouts of paudel sir's house. Day after at same stall we heard a rumor, Man bahadur got married with an Indian girl in America. They said Paudel sir got photograph of both with letter. Who knows? Man bahadur turned betrayer and his wife a gold chain snatcher of paudel sir. This was indeed weired situation to persona of paudel sir to reply the flying gossip. Gossip started, proposal stopped!

For any parents happiness of their child is focal. This is inherited gift to every parent from the time they becomes parent. After seven/eight month again fellow neighbors got a fine ingredient on Paudel sir – daughter-in-law of paudel sir is bad luck to family. Reason, Man bahadur lost his job (you know the great financial crisis 2008/09 right?). Others perception hardly surpasses the temperament  of paudel sir.

One night when paudel sir was making bed to sleep someone knocked the door. It was his son but alone. Paudel sir stopped opening up to fellow neighbors. As two months passed, people at village came to know that Man bahadur returned for forever. People even said that Man bahadur wife left him. God Knows! (You know their divorce right? My god how badly they separated.)

It is already two years since Man bahadur started a new life in Shikarpur, Baitadi. Both son/father are in good terms. They are more like friends. Man bahadur continued the father's job at school as a year ago paudel sir retired. People in village are happy since they got capable hands to raise their pupil. Money may be low but respect to Man bahadur effort is massive. Last time it was heard that some local political parties proposed him to run for village chairman from their sides.

Good days of paudel sir are back. Morsel with family under single roof at one table is priceless. This is true happiness. Paudel sir can be seen and met at same local tea stall. What a satisfactory golden handshake of this retired old school service man! Oh! Yes another big news- people said Man sir is in love with madam from another school. They met on quiz competition at another school, some says. Man sir knows it better."

Dear harry, this the story of our buddy. I am planning to leave for Shikarpur in this coming spring. Will update you more. Dear this roller coaster of Maddy's life gave me so very strength in this covid days. Bank loans, EMI, landlord rent, employee pay, dissatisfied customer is all that I have seen for whole this two years. Time and again Maddy taught us- Rhythm of life should be balanced. This gives good sound. With these positive notes and energy I am penning down, please do write how you, Jane and kids are doing. Sending love.

Remmy.

Booming security market

Security market was most ignored investment avenue, what are those reason that hyped this avenue from 293 to 2823.06 Nepse Index? The trading trend in Nepalese capital market is bit different from world capital market. People invest on share seeking for bonus and right share since Nepalese share has return only once in a fiscal year that is, dividend. People are more inclined to fix deposit account of banks and financial institute than securities market as interest rate is higher than return from capital market. Most of the country's 50% and more securities in Capital market are transact for government securities but in our case this doesn't stand true. BFIs have dominant in security market. Negative comments, NEPSE inefficiency, NRB regulation regarding margin lending policy, unaware people, and more investment in import and gold business and weak online trading backlash the Nepalese share market.  The increment in capital requirement of A,B and C BFIs as fixed by NRB on FY ...

DOSA ECONOMICS

Dosa Economics During his three year tenure as the governor of RBI, Dr. Raghu Ram Rajan focused on lower inflation over higher interest rate. Rajan theory famously known as DOSANOMICS. He explained the concept with the use of interest in pension fund with relation to increase in general price level. If a pension has savings of rs. 100000 and the cost of dosa is rs. 50 at the time, he can buy 2000 dosas with that money. As a rational being a pensioner wants to invest for a period of one year to make extra more sum. Lets look at scenario: Inflation: 10%                   Interest: 10% At this rate, pensioner will get rs. 10000 as interest after a year in savings. But, cost of dosa is now at rs. 55. He can only buy 182 dosas with earned interest. Again, Inflation: 5.5%                Interest: 8% At this rate, pensioner will get rs. 8,000 as interest after a...
